A Room with a View

An exhibition of new products, presented at the launch of the WAX Building during the 2024 London Design Festival.

Themed around a period of time spent in a rural studio location, the installation connects design with a low-lying agricultural panorama of vast skies and an infinitely linear horizon.

This minimal landscape, only ever punctuated by the occasional cylindrical shape of steel grain silos, gave root to products with similarly bare aesthetics of materiality and form and is the backdrop of the presentation.

The designs within the exhibition are being promoted and sold on a made to order basis with all manufacturing taking place within a 150km radius of the studio. Common throughout is the uniform use of partly recycled extruded aluminium with finely brushed finishing.

Complementary to the installation are a series of paintings by London based artist, Andrew Rogers.

Located in the heart of Shoreditch, London and spread over 4 floors,The WAX Building is a new hub for British independent design brands. Showroom viewings by appointment.
