-Origin

Discover archive designs and new releases within the Minimalux -ORIGIN exhibition at WAX 2025 during the London Design Festival, from 13-21 September.

Minimalux returns to the origin of its name; defining the essence of the brands designs from its foundation 15 years ago to the present.

Themed around an imagined dictionary definition, Minimalux presents a specially curated selection of products from its collection, all united by a simple singular philosophy that has guided the brands evolution from its beginning in 2010 and continues to this day. The exhibition features items from the archive, fresh additions to the ROTA family and new lighting range NIL.

NIL is a strikingly simple family of table and floor lights. The name speaks for itself in expressing the circular (O) nature of the globe and also in defining a design which is so spare it is almost nothing. Reduced to the most basic graphic elements NIL is akin to a moon on a stick, as if a child had drawn it that way.

First introduced in 2016, ROTA is a lamp composed of white aluminium discs, supported by frosted acrylic rings and precision turned brass rods. For 2025 Minimalux grows the family; adding to the existing  table and suspension models with a taller table option and commanding floor versions in two heights.
