Dan Flavin (April 1, 1933 – November 29, 1996) was an American minimalist artist famous for creating sculptural objects and installations from commercially available fluorescent light fixtures.
Art can often inspire design and we make no secret of his influence in reference to our own Neon table lamp. Most of Flavin's works, titled or untitled, were followed by a dedication to friends, artists, critics and others. We pass on own dedication to him as a mark of respect and thanks. A subtle homage to a great 20th century artist.
We'd like to know that within your home when you look at and appreciate our Neon lamp, you think of Dan.
