Minimalux.com is a site owned and operated by Other Luxury Limited. Should you need clarification about these Terms & Conditions or need to contact us for any other reason please email info@minimalux.com. Other Luxury Limited is registered in England under Company number 12045684 and VAT number GB327382006 and EORI number GB327382006000 with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. 

Product Information

Our products are as pictured and described on the pages of our website. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however variations may occur. This information can also be amended at any point without notice being given. Colours and finishes of our products are displayed as clearly as possible but as resolution and screen settings can affect how an item is displayed, the accuracy of colours and finishes cannot be guaranteed. 

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel a purchase at any time for whatever reason within 14 working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods. If you are in possession of the goods you are under duty to retain them and take care of them until the point of return, at which point you must send the goods back to our contact address with our instructions. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract you will be refunded as soon as possible after we receive the goods and in any event within 30 days of your cancelation. You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of goods that are made to order or clearly personalised. 

Warranty

Minimalux offers a 12 month warranty on all products providing such items and relevant accessories will reveal to be defective or unusable because of attested defects of manufacture or assembling and/or the buyer has been compliant with the agreed terms of payment. Minimalux will not accept or pay for any invoice sent by third parties for the repairing of defective products. 

Security

All online purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest security technology to protect customers. Credit card information is encrypted to ensure transactions are private and protected as they travel over the internet. Minimalux uses secure socket layer (SSL) technology.

Notices

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on this site. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.

Conclusion

These terms are governed by english law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy and online safety are important to Minimalux. This policy explains how we may collect information about you and then how we use it. It also gives certain assurances on things that we will and will not do.

1. Purpose and Consent for Collection

Minimalux collects, stores, processes or transmits data in order to provide services to customers. This may include marketing of services, the processing of orders for customers and customer support activities, or for the purposes of conducting corporate activities such as interacting with suppliers, job applicants or administration.

By providing personal information to Minimalux in any of the ways described in this policy, the subject is agreeing that they are authorised to provide the information and that they accept this privacy policy and that Minimalux is authorised to process it.

Minimalux will collect a range of information about the subject, either via activity via our website, emails, customer support, telephone, in person or at trade shows.this information includes: name, organisation, address, phone number, email address, ip address, username, credit/debit card details. We will not collect sensitive categories of data without their explicit consent.

Minimalux does not undertake any automated decision making relating to any service activities except for third party fraud checking services that may automatically decline a credit or debit card transaction.

Minimalux will not collect data relating to minors as defined under UK law. Minors as defined by UK law are not permitted to use Minimalux services or interact with us as a corporate entity.

Minimalux may from time to time contact the customer via email regarding service related matters such as billing, product support and logistics.  

2. Data Retention

We will keep your personal information for as long as you are a customer of Minimalux. After you stop being a customer, we may keep your data for longer so we are able to respond to any questions or complaints and to comply with any legal and accounting requirements. 

3. Data Transfers and the Use of Data Sub Processors

Minimalux will not share subject data with a third party not directly associated with the provision of services without their explicit consent. Minimalux will also not transfer subject data to a third party country outside of the UK or EEA that is not compliant with the applicable data protection laws via adequacy agreement, binding corporate rules or other legally appropriate means as defined by the information commissioner’s office without their explicit consent.

At Minimalux we make use of a number of 3rd party organisations so that we can deliver services to our customers. Whilst the following list is not intended to be exhaustive, Minimalux typically only transfers the personal data relating to our customers, where required for the activities set out below, to the following third parties or data processors:

SHOPIFY (e-commerce platform),  GOOGLE (analytics, advertising, marketing), STRIPE INC. (payment processing and fraud prevention), PAYPAL INC. (payment processing and fraud prevention), FACEBOOK INC. (marketing).

By interacting with Minimalux as defined in this policy, the subject provides their consent for this transfer and use of our data processors and their data sub-processors, and for transfer to any other appropriate third party data processor for the purposes of delivery of the services and customer relationship management activities.
