Description

Drum D2 is an adjustable desk or table lamp with smooth 360° rotation, creating a combination of direct, task and ambient light from both ends of the shade and down the supporting pillar, via an LED light source housed in a cylindrical opal diffuser. Ideal as a reading light on a desktop or alongside a bed or armchair, it is available in fine textured matt black and white or brushed aluminium finishes. Made from partly recycled aluminium, all lamps in the Drum collection are hand assembled in the UK on a made to order basis allowing the flexibility to have them tailored to your location and preferences. Care

The powder coated finish of these lamps is fairly robust and requires little maintenance. The brushed aluminium finish is natural and untreated. It will gently oxidise over time and will occasionally pick up finger marks when handled, helping to develop a unique patina. An easy and simple solution to cleaning the surface is by using a rubbing alcohol. Make sure the lamp is switched off and the plug disconnected, then simply add a few drops of the rubbing alcohol to a soft microfibre cloth and gently rub away any marks, always in the direction of the grain. Alternatively mix a small amount of dishwashing liquid with warm water and use that instead, wiping away any remaining moisture with a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on aluminium as they will cause damage to the surface.
