Description

Drum S1 is suspension lamp creating soft diffused uplight and direct downlight from a deeply recessed bulb, positioned to effectively reduce glare and illuminate both inside the drum shade and outwards. Made from partly recycled aluminium, it is available in fine textured matt black and white or a natural brushed finish with matching braided flex cable and solid brass or chrome detailing. All lamps in the Drum collection are hand assembled in the UK on a made to order basis allowing the flexibility to have them tailored to your location and preferences. Choose from the options above.

Care

The powder coated finish of these lamps is fairly robust and requires little maintenance. The brushed aluminium finish is natural and untreated. It will gently oxidise over time and will occasionally pick up finger marks when handled, helping to develop a unique patina. An easy and simple solution to cleaning the surface is by using a rubbing alcohol. Make sure the lamp is switched off and the plug disconnected, then simply add a few drops of the rubbing alcohol to a soft microfibre cloth and gently rub away any marks. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on aluminium as they will cause damage to the surface.
