Round Bottom Vase

The classic form of a round bottom laboratory flask reproduced as a vase. Made from hand blown borosilicate glass with a thick layer of highly polished copper or hallmarked sterling silver electroplated onto the surface. The inside of each vase displays its own unique patina.

Copper:
This item is non-lacquered and due to the properties of copper the surface will naturally age and tarnish over time. The process is intentional and an inherent part of the design, allowing each vase to acquire an attractive natural patina unique to the user. Should you wish to maintain the metal in its original state, occasional cleaning with an appropriate reputable metal polish will retain the bright surface finish.

Sterling Silver:
With proper care, the silver will retain its beauty and character for many generations. Silver tarnishes but if regularly used it typically needs less care, so we strongly recommend you use your Minimalux silver vase every day. To polish silver use a quality approved brand. Once cleaned and polished silver must be kept dry and, if stored, it should be contained in airtight bags or containers to prevent tarnish.
